Once he had tasted his first Seth couldnt get enough and kept devouring them on a nightly basis. The fix is always the same, whether it be a pure soul, or a soul that has been tainted in some way.
~Pretty faces and foreign accents~
What can he say, he falls for a pretty face every time and a foreign accent thrown into the mix just makes him go all weak in the knee’s, although sometimes he just likes to torment them pretty ones
~Anything Holy~
And that does mean anything, from the smallest crucifix to the weakest of prayers, they will all effect him in one way or another.
~Black Smoke~
Due to the nature of the Anima Comedentis {Soul Eaters} and the nature of their curse for turning their backs on the almighty, on every exhale of breath they exhale a cloud of thick black smoke that is said to be from the very pits of hell itself and that of the souls in which they have devoured. Because of this Seth is a chainsmoker, it helps blend in.
~Nightmares/Dreams~
For the woman he loved and was forced to leave behind and to never see again.

History
Sethos was there in the beginning, at the almighty battle that saw The Morning Star cast out from paradise with his host of angels. A host of angels that Sethos was apart of. He had committed an eternal sin, something so heinous that it could never be forgiven. Sethos had turned his back on all that had been taught and given to him, he had closed his heart to the divine spirit and joined Satan-Sataniel in his war against paradise. This was an eternal, unforgivable sin.
For this act alone, Sethos will be forever denied access to Heaven, and to only be allowed to exist in hell as a monster, an angel who once had purpose and now has nothing.
Seth, or Sethos as he was known in the nine circles had planned something, had been planning and had found a way to escape his prison. Living for eternity in a fiery pit until Armageddon wasn’t exactly something Sethos enjoyed, living in Hell wasn’t exactly something anyone enjoyed, although some in the deep truly did enjoy it, demons like the seven princes.
Escaping from hell wasn’t easy, it took a great deal of time, effort and so much of his power that once he had broken through to the other side he was but a shadow of his former self. It had taken him nearly two centuries to fully recover from the ordeal of crossing over from the nine circles and even now in the present day, memories, feelings, names and places from that time all seem like just a blur, like a dream you instantly forget when you wake up. But Sethos knows that it was more than just a dream, for when he sleeps, and his mind is dark, he can feel the fires and feel the claws of the morning star trying to pull him back to where he belongs.
But Sethos wont go back, he will keep resisting…even if it kills him.

Time was wearing on, and the day was slowly coming to an end. You couldn’t really tell that from the inside of Seth’s shop though. The blinds were pulled shut, blocking any and most sunlight from penetrating the dusty magic shop. It was quite a dingy little place, selling “Magic” items to wannabe witches and self proclaimed warlocks that would turn and run screaming if they ever for a moment thought demons were real.
Towards the back of the quaint little shop, behind the four or five rows of dusty shelving sat Seth. He was the proprietor of the fine establishment and harbored a secret that none of his regular clientele could fathom. He was a demon, a Soul Eater to be exact, it was a secret Seth guarded well with only a few very select and special customer knowing what he truly was. They knew, because they were also Demons.
Seth quietly sat behind his old model cash register smoking away at a cigarette. The tranquility of the small magic shop was suddenly disturbed by the ringing bell that sat above the door and alerted Seth that a customer had entered his humble abode. It was close to closing time, and on a day like Friday when everyone was gearing up for the weekend Seth knew that it could only be one person…or Demon.
The Demon that had entered his ship was a Kalanashi Demon, very old blood and even older, darker magic “back I see…” Seth knew who it was right away without having to look up from the music magazine that he was reading from, “you have the stones I take it…or else you wouldn’t be here” quickly and abruptly a small brown leather bag was tossed onto the magazine and into the gaze of Seth.
A small smile crept across his lips and a cloud of black smoke was exhaled through his nose, “good” he slid off of his stool, eyed the hooded, faceless demon for a moment, picked up the small bag of stones and then headed for the door of his shop. He wanted to make sure they weren’t going to be disturbed, and besides that, it was coming up for closing time and he didn’t want any customer lingering after closing time…unless of course it was a very special customer.
With the door securely locked, and the ‘closed and open sign’ flipped to ‘closed‘, Seth headed into the backroom with his hooded friend in tow, “this wasn’t easy to come by you know…” Seth glanced at the hooded figure and tried to make out a distinguished face in the darkness of the hood, but could discern nothing in the black void. Approaching a painting of Satan being cast down from heaven, he plucked it from the wall and placed it down on the floor leaning against the wall.
Behind the painting was a safe set into the brick work, “just so we are clear, you didn’t get this from me, I’m pretty sure by giving this to you I am pissing off a fair amount of people” the hooded demon stood their in silence, with the only sign that he heard what was being said was a slight nod of his head.
“talkative aren’t you…I like that” Seth joked, and pulled out something wrapped in a brown cloth, “I don’t want to know what its for…just take it out of my shop” he handed it over to the shrouded demon who actually broke his silence and spoke “when our time comesss” it sounded like he needed a good throat lozenge “and we bath the world in bloood, your death will come quick-ly…weee do not forget friendsss” the demons voice was hushed over in a whisper and Seth just stood their unfazed while lighting up another cigarette, “oh yeah? Thank you I guess” Seth didn’t really pay much attention to his warning of an apocalypse, this city was sitting on a hell mouth, it practically had an annual apocalypse planned.
“right then…” Seth spoke after exhaling, “be…not seeing you I suppose” the demon simply slipped the Talisman between its robes and started to hiss something in a language that Seth could not understand. The lights dimmed even dimmer, gusts of winds started to throw about pieces of paper, Clouds seemed to form up out of nowhere thunder and lightening roared and threatened to deafen Seth.
But, just as quickly as the wind and lights show had begun it stopped, taking the demon to what ever plane of existence he had come from. Who or where this Demon was going, or where he was going didn’t matter to Seth, what did matter was the mess of his back room. Stock papers and tax returns all over the floor, “who is going to clean this place up?” the question rang silent and nobody answered, “fuck” he swore under his breath and began to tidy up, “I need an assistant”.
