Basic Information
Name: Asri
Age: Relative. 6 years spent on earth, looks about 22
Species: Demon - Aeon (see description at bottom)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Description
Height: 5'11"
Eye color: Hazel/Green
Hair color: Dark Auburn
Overall Description: Basically this but with the hair and eye color from above, and the white parts of her outfit in military green, black parts a muddy brown, and red parts black. (the black is unchanged)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Weapons
She cannot fight. Her only offensive mechanism is that direct contact with her skin without certain artifacts or spells in use causes the magic energy within the being to rush out toward and through the point of contact, causing massive pain and burns if allowed to persist long enough.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Personality
Being so strongly tied to magic Asri's mood is chaotic. She tends to be frightened of most people, weather or not they pose a threat, though eventually she becomes a little bit more sociable but not much. If threatened however she becomes aggressive and cold. When dealing with humans she tends to keep quiet and distant, but when dealing with creatures that have magical prowess she becomes agitated and excitable. Her one great love is her sewing machine.
Her persona she uses for dealing with humans, Ashley Marks, is tailored so that she will not have to interact much with them personally. Speaks as few words as possible in the most monotonous voice while avoiding eye or skin contact as much as possible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Powers
Manipulation of magical energy
Can metabolize of magical energy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Skills
Enchantment
Sensing Magic
Tailoring
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Weaknesses
Physically weak
Unstable personality
Usage of any skill or power that seals magic is eventually fatal to her, and because of its effects impossible for her to use her power to remove.
Being in the presence of strong magical forces has an effect similar to the blood lust of a vampire or the feral nature of a werewolf, causing her to lose most if not all(depending on the power level) of her self control, as well as possibly provoking her aggressive side.

History
Asri didn't really grow up, per say. Rather she, like all of her kind which were rather few now, was a creation of the mind of her dieing mother. She carried with her her progenitor's memories, as well as her fears. Unlike most of her kind who were created under happy circumstances, Asri was her progenitor's last effort to live on after being killed by an overzealous slayer - as the woman had hardly looked to be of the human plane. Thus, rather than recreating or reinventing herself, Asri was created to look like a beautiful human woman that Terma had met during her brief period on earth.
Having been lucky enough at least to be 'born' on her native plane she was able to learn of her power and how to sustain herself. Life was not easy by any means, but there were few incidents. However, there was only so much one could take in at any given time, so she eventually left her plane, going to the humans plane and seeking out new inspiration.
Her first human encounter saw her too a 'Wicca' shop, where she met with her first human victim. The feeling of the raw creative energy filled her with an ecstasy she didn't get from the energies on her native plane, but when she saw the state that her victim was left in she cried. She hadn't meant to kill the man. She hadn't even known she was feeding off him. It just...happened. Unsure weather to accept this as her fate or to fight it, she simply decided not to act at all. Instead she used the power that the man had 'given' her - that she hadn't metabolized already - to incinerate his body, then to create a special sewing machine capable of channeling magic into the fabric being worked.
Knowing from an imprint that one needed currency to survive on the human plane and that currency was gained through the trading of goods and services, Asri reasoned that her talents as a seamstress and designer could be put forth to this end, in the same way that her progenitor had done. Thankful for the imprints about advertising, and laws surrounding running a business, Asri was able to start up her dress shop and in a few years business was booming. She still had her occasional snack but incidents like her first encounter were very few now. Her problems now were dealing with all these human customers when each and every one to her was painted as though it was going to kill her in her mind.

"No, you listen here...Ashley! I didn't order candlelight silk, I ordered buttermilk satin! Got that!? A rather angry woman was screaming at the top of her lungs at a very frightened Asri, only giving enough courtesy to take the time to read the badge Asri wore while she worked. Bridezillas scared her more than slayers did at this point, the way those women could rage was beyond this demon.
As a beautiful gown was hurled back into Asri's face and she frantically tried to get a line of sight with the woman. She studdered as she finaly pushed the voluminous dress away from her face. "Y-yes mam...of course...but, if you look h-here..." She fished out the service order from beneath the dress and pointed to the specs. "You clearly a-asked fo-"
The woman's face contorted and for a moment Asri wondered if she might be a vampire before realising that it was noon. "YOU'RE LIEING! You made that recipt up to cover yourself!"
Asri jumped at the sudden outburst and, shaking, began to gather up her things. "B-but...but I..." Before she had a chance to finish though the woman had gotten on her cell phone and started screaming to her bridesmaid about the 'bitch dress maker' and how she'd kill her if she didn't make it right. Asri's face then hardened, as did her gaze. She slammed her hand down on the counter and shoved the service order in the woman's face. "No, you look here, right now. You see that? Do you? Can-del-light. Candlelight silk. It's in YOUR handwriting, like all the other specs on this damn thing. Now, you want to consider being a decent person and admitting you changed your mind?" She rubbed her temples shaking her head. "Seriously. You people never seem to understand that if you just ASK me to change something I generally will for free. I mean it's written right there on the order. If people don't start reading these damn things..."
The bride, now gaping at her, took a moment to gather herself. Asri couldn't help but give her a 'see how you like it' grin as she began to hang the woman's dress up and straighten it out. "Well...I guess I was a bit harsh..." Cheap was more like it, she thought. "...How long will this take?"
Asri grinned. "Depends on how much incentive you give me...when was your wedding again?"
The woman just scowled. "How much?" She sighed, grumbling a she pulled out her wallet.

Aeon
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Aeon are a race of demon unfairly labeled with the malicious type due to two of their traits. They are like vampires in that they feed on living beings, though Aeon feed upon magical energy rather than blood and do not kill unless frenzied by a high energy concentration. They are also seen as a threat because they could appear as any of the other creatures that exist, though they tend to pick higher, more intelligent lifeforms, usually other demons. The truth is though that Aeons are peace loving creatures for the most part, their lives being deeply rooted in creation rather than destruction. They tend to be artists or artisans, writers or inventors. They are actually easily frightened and very cautious, though are prone to fits of rage if provoked enough. Very few actually allow themselves to be driven mad by the ecstasy of consuming strong magic, and those few are generally the ones that get noticed by slayers. That is why Aeon have a reputation rivaling vampires.
As for the method by which they extract the energy from a creature, it is generally done by skin to skin contact. Most Aeon will use their reserve of energy to numb their donor so that they do not feel the high levels of pain that can sometimes be generated by the procedure. Most also take care to move their contact point so as to not burn the donor. 'Feral' Aeon however don't care for the welfare of their victims, often either killing them or leaving them in comas for weeks to months at a time because of the shock caused by all the pain.
Depending on how much energy is absorbed, the Aeon then has the ability to use any left over energy to preform it's own magic. They have no magic of their own, and if one is ever unlucky enough to be the target of a power sealing spell it can prove fatal because their body cannot access its energy reserves to keep itself fed. They will begin to age quickly, and death will come within the next few days.
Other ways to kill Aeon include beheading, damage to any major organ, and other various physical weaknesses of whatever form they have taken on. Using magic on them is not recommended because although it would still have effect they have the ability to slightly change the effect of a spell or to weaken it. Very strong Aeon- most often feral ones- can even deflect the spell back into its caster.
