An Introduction
Slayers are in charge of hunting down Vampires. Sometimes they're known as Vampire Hunters for this reason, although they do hunt more then just Vampires, often hunting down a wide range of supernatural creatures - including werewolves and demons. They use a wide variety of weapons and aren't always human.

A short history
Throughout time Vampire slayers have always been honored for their ability to kill vampires, and protect the wider public from such creatures. They have always been there to protect humans from vampires, even though they rarely get much recognition from the public as a whole. Their weapons have changed and adapted, and while many still prefer a wooden stake they can use more then just the trademark slayers weapon.
