Basic Information
Name: Ophelia Marshall
Age: Nineteen
Species: Human, Slayer
Description && Personality
Height: Five Feet, Two Inches
Eye color: Teal
Hair color: Vibrant Red
Overall Description: Ophelia is a boy’s wet dream. She embodies what every man wants. And what every man can’t have. She has simply toxic red hair. It is a vibrant fiery red that simply pops in any photo. Her eyes are tear drop shape, the color a simply stunning teal. Her skin is a healthy glow with the help from the sun – no one would dare trap Ophelia in a tanning booth. Her breasts are perhaps due to the help of a doctor, but does that really matter? With high heels and short dresses it looks like her legs could go on forever. One also cannot forget her vivacious curves.
Weapons: Knives, Guns, Plastic Bags
Personality: Jack the Ripper could have been Ophelia’s father – at least personality wise. If you were to pass by Ophelia on the street you would think that she is gorgeous, you would realize that she knows it, and you would realize that she is quite confident. She has this way about her that makes strangers want to jump through hoops for her. On the street, personality wise Ophelia says and does all the right things.
Inside is a bubbling monster just waiting to destroy and do what it does best. Ophelia is twisted and enjoys torturing and killing. She does not try to restrain herself in any which way. She lets her urges take flight fully well knowing the consequences of her actions. If caught she would get the death penalty several times over. Ophelia is in a way narcissistic as she is only concerned with her instant gratification from another’s physical and mental pain.
Ophelia also despises vampires, though she does not know why. Most that she has met have similar statuses of mind as Ophelia. Perhaps she hates them because they will forever remain young. Perhaps she despises them because of their powers. Perhaps she despises them because it is harder to kill them but easier to clean up their bodies. Or perhaps because vampires have a state of mind that a pesky long legged red head can do them no harm and Ophelia enjoys wiping that smirk from their faces before the final plunge through their protective heart cage and woosh, dust.
Likes: Death, torture, dull knives, suffering (to others), pain (to others), money, art, killing, fast cars, classical music
Dislikes: Hospitals, Mental asylums, Any type of authority, Good Samaritans, attentive people, nosy neighbors, dogs, father
Fears: Having her father find her, dying, becoming a vampire, going back to a mental asylum, going to jail, getting the death penalty, not finding her next kill
Powers&&Skills
Powers: Believe it or not but Ophelia is an empath. She has the gift of empathy. An empathy is someone who can recognize the feelings of others. However, she does not feel their feelings. She does not know or feel love. Nor however does she feel anything like rage. She is an empty slate almost. She knows emotions only by their textbook definition. Ophelia also has the ability to twist someone’s personal feelings. She can turn someone’s happiness into boiling rage and anger. She can make someone love and admire her. In essence she can make someone feel something so fully that they are overcome with whatever said emotion may be and have them entirely forget that they have met or seen Ophelia. Once she made someone feel such horrid grief over the loss of a child that she was able to slip out of a museum after detected and the museum guard then killed himself.
Skills: Ophelia is fluent in twelve languages: English, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Arabic, Hebrew and even Swahili. When her father was human he was a high ranking diplomat and the family of three travelled from country to country. As a young child learning languages it was rather easy and even Ophelia would have a hard time learning these languages if she had not started so young at her parents insistence.
As one of Ophelia’s mandatory hobbies she took gymnastics making her extremely flexible. She has excellent athletic abilities and can climb a ten foot fence with little to no effort. She has stayed in fit by running, another one of her hobbies. Ophelia usually runs five to ten miles a day. She can build her own line and glide down on rope with ease inside heavily locked museums and private collections. She is also familiar with poisonous plants and mushrooms from weekly hikes. You’re not considered fit in her eyes unless you can hike through ten miles of trail without getting winded. You may be able to run ten miles, but unless you can do it on a trail you’re going to get winded.
Ophelia is also classically trained as a violinist though she has never had a concert in the professional level. She enjoys stealing from the rich, not performing for them. She has an extensive collection of fine violins from around the world, a few that have said to be missing and or lost, at least say the history books. When her fingers are on a violin it is the only thing that seems to bring her some sort of emotion, or at least not make her as empty inside as before.
Weaknesses: Ophelia does not have any weaknesses, if you were to ask her. Though she is fearful of the death penalty, the police and insane asylums the fear is not overall crippling nor does it effect or affect her and her ‘life choices’. However the truth is far from Ophelia’s eyes. Her lack of emotion is most certainly a crippling weakness. Ophelia has felt the warm body warmth from a hug but she does not feel a hug. She does not feel anything.
History History: Ophelia can remember life from the age of seven onwards. Her father was a diplomat and a very important and successful one at that. Her father at the time was the American ambassador to the French and in France it is required that all children learn five to six additional languages. Ophelia learnt English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Italian and Arabic. The French language is her first language. As early as Ophelia remembered she could never feel anything. Once another child noticed that Ophelia never smiled or laughed they all picked up on this and decided to do everything to make Ophelia cry, anything to see that she had emotion.
Instead Ophelia from across the recess grounds made the other child feel an insufferable pain. The pain was so hurtful that the child ran from the school grounds into incoming traffic and was splattered and squished by a police car. After that tragic death people stopped picking on Ophelia and left her alone. No one had any questions or suspicions that Ophelia did anything strange at all to the child.
Six months later after the end of the school term Ophelia’s father got offered the job to Arabia. There Ophelia met highly important people along with many Princes and Princesses. She saw a luxury which she had never seen before (though her father and mother were both wealthy this was just extreme luxury). Men would fan the Princesses with gold tipped leaves and feed the Princesses anything they wanted. Millions of dollars in gold jewelry was tossed around their bedchamber floor like scrap paper for the many maids to pick up.
It was at this time that Ophelia began to get sticky fingers. She would casually stick a few gold or jeweled bracelets, rings, earrings and necklaces into her pockets. Ophelia was not nervous because she felt nothing. Besides, what were they going to do to an American diplomat’s daughter who was only twelve? Ophelia was tutored and learned several more languages all while continuingly practicing the other languages she already knew.
At the age of fourteen when her mother divorced Ophelia’s father and moved her back to America Ophelia killed someone. Not even the best defense attorney in the world could get Ophelia off. There were too many credible witnesses, not one or two but three cameras from businesses that showed Ophelia killing the man for no reason. There was no motive and no reason but it went well for the Prosecution, proving Ophelia to be insane. Because of her young age she was sent to a mental asylum for the criminally insane. Her father had hired Ophelia the best lawyer and the best the best lawyer could do was to get her into an asylum instead of the electric chair. Three and a half years when Ophelia was seventeen she escaped. It helped that security was lax at night, budget cuts, Ophelia had studied the shift changes for years, knew that on some nights when the power went off that the doors in the basement that said, ‘Alarm will sound, only to be used in an emergency’ would not give off. Of course escape was in no way easy as it did take Ophelia three and a half years. There was also her ‘cell’ door that was locked in at night and head counts every fifteen minutes unless a guard was feeling lazy, but this was rare and it had to be the old guard that rarely got the night shift as he did everything in his power to avoid it. But one night Ophelia did escape.
She headed and made her way to Africa. It was easy with her gift on empathy to persuade a sailor to hide her on a boat. He would ask for sex but she persuaded him that deep down he had an irrational terrifying fear of sex. In fact she was most downright cruel to this man who had helped her make her way to Africa. After they boarded Ophelia killed him in the jungle, he did not know what was coming. It was sloppy and messy but no one would find the body unless they looked for it. Ophelia landed in Kenya and after years of studying in the asylum the language of Swahili it obviously paid off, though Ophelia had to adjust to saying certain words and the dialect. She was a fast learner. Ophelia travelled all through parts of Africa where Swahili was the main language.
One day however as Ophelia moved from the tribal forests to more ‘civilized’ parts she encountered her father by chance. It was in Uganda and by extreme accident. The odds were probably one in 500 billion but it happened. Ophelia’s father easily grabbed her and dragged her to his hotel room where no questions were asked, at least when it was a woman being dragged away. Her father said that he thought that Ophelia was dead and that she had been legally declared dead. Because on the night that she had escaped the guard had later gone insane and killed a few of Ophelia’s insane ‘friends’ because the guard couldn’t take them anymore, and his younger sister had been raped and murdered by a freak like them. The bodies of Ophelia’s insane ‘friends’ were put in the heater/incinerator and the guard had used a blanket that had Ophelia’s blood on it from her period – which had been stolen by an insane crazy girl so she could sniff Ophelia’s scent, which ended up working in her favor.
It was at this time that Ophelia living with her father in his hotel room for a few days noticed that he did not go out during the day. She realized that he had become a vampire, the African people are generally more paranoid and Ophelia came to the same conclusion. He had probably been a vampire since her parent’s divorce. Ophelia broke a chair from her room, broke into her father’s room and staked him. Then she took his wallet and credit cards. Though this was her first vampire kill she may have not done it exactly right. Had she exerted a little more force and had the chair leg been sharp it would have done the job.
From Africa Ophelia used her fake passport to take her to Europe. After spending time in Europe Ophelia got into stealing things from museums. They had really laid back security systems. Ophelia killed a couple of vampires, sold the famous paintings and was on her way to living the good life, occasionally withdrawing large sums of money from her father’s bank account. Little did Ophelia know that he wasn’t dead but really, really pissed off. Ophelia found herself in Mortalitas, exactly five hundred miles away from where her mother is currently living.
RP Sample
RP Sample: Ophelia was unused to being in America. She found it unsettling but she was enjoying watching these customs. They were vastly different then the Africans and the Europeans. She wanted to study these Americans and what better place to do it then under her steady knife? Ophelia had literally lived all over the world except America. Yes, she had spent years in an insane asylum here but she had been surrounded by crazies and guards who put on airs. Oh how Ophelia would like to go back and kill every last guard… But that was one temptation she resisted. She had more important things to do, like driving this nice sports car. She had gotten a ‘manual’ as was standard in Africa, there was no ‘automatic’ and Ophelia could not drive an automatic, she got confused as to why there was no clutch. Many things confused Ophelia and when she got confused she got mad. And when she got mad she wanted to kill. It was time to look for someone to kill…
